Meccano is a work in progress. It is made of hundreds of multi-colored, little plastic pieces that have been cut out from wasted plastic bottles and jerry cans. Every year, in a different city, a new work is built assembling those pieces with plastic screws. After been shown, the work is dismantled and put back in its box until the next year. Only photographic documentation remains after every transformation. When Meccano is shown in public it is complemented with those images of previous configurations.
